Volunteer Days: BEST Mock Interviews

We have been asked once again to provide volunteers to conduct Mock Interviews for former TPC Grantee, BEST Hospitality Training. Mock interviews are part of BEST’s Job Seeker Program, in which students attend an Introduction to Hospitality/Housekeeping Pre-Apprenticeship class. Students will be applying for hotel housekeeping positions after graduation. The Mock Interviews are meant to simulate a “real” employment interview to help build the students’ confidence and identify additional training opportunities. Interviews are videotaped and each student will have an opportunity to view their interviews at a later time with his or her career coach.

Each interview will take about 10 minutes with a selection of questions provided. After each interview, you will be asked to provide written notes and feedback, which will also provide valuable information for the career coaches to review with the students.
