Volunteer Days: BEST Mock Interviews

Join us for another Volunteer Day with
TPC grantee BEST Hospitality Training 

TPC has been asked once again to provide volunteers to conduct mock interviews for former Grantee BEST Hospitality Training. Mock interviews are part of BEST’s Job Seeker Program, in which students attend an Introduction to Hospitality/Housekeeping Pre-Apprenticeship class. Graduates will all be applying for hotel housekeeping positions, and these interviews are meant to simulate a “real” employment interview to help build the students’ confidence and identify additional training opportunities. The interviews will be videotaped with each student will review them later with his or her career coach.

Each interview will take about 10 minutes, with a selection of questions provided by BEST. After each interview, you will be asked to provide written notes and feedback, which will provide valuable information for the career coaches to review with students.

There are slots still available for the early shift = from 9:30 to 11:00. Parking/public transportation details are provided when you register.
