Trust-based philanthropy (TBP) is an approach to grantmaking currently being embraced by many funders. This Dialogue, which is a continuation of the discussion we began over the summer, will answer questions you may have about this approach: What is TBP and why is it so important? How are relationships between funders and grantees strengthened when they are built on trust and mutual partnership? How can TPC improve relationships with its grantees?

The discussion will be led by former TPC President Susan Benford who will engage in a conversation with TPC members Tref Borden, ED, Fish Family Foundation, and Kalyn King, Program Officer, Mass Cultural Council, to learn how their organizations have successfully embraced a trust-based approach.

Our Mission

Inspire and enable a community of women to learn, grow, and engage in collective giving to support nonprofit organizations that address systemic inequities impacting individuals and families within the greater Boston area.
