Book Club: The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett

Join us for an evening of discussion centered on Brit Bennett’s book The Vanishing Half.

Ms. Bennett, the New York Times bestselling author of The Mothers, has written a stunning new novel about twin sisters, inseparable as children, who ultimately choose to live in two very different worlds - one black and one white.

Facilitated by TPC’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee members, this event will provide a space to unpack many intersecting identities including race, gender, class, and more. We will gather together initially in virtual space, and then break into small groups with a facilitator assigned to lead each discussion.
