We are very pleased and excited to invite you to join a distinguished group of women who will gather together to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage. They will discuss the history and impact of the suffragist movement, including the opportunities afforded to women when the right to vote was extended, as well as the obstacles that still remain.
Among the distinguished presenters and panelists are State Senator Sonia Chang-Diaz; Elizabeth Foster-Nolan, Co-President of the League of Women Voters of MA; Cambridge activist Lori Lander; Layli Maparyan, Director of the Wellesley Centers for Women; and Susan Ware, Centennial Historian at the Schlesinger Library, Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.
